A Nonviolent Rally To Close Guantanamo Prison

In in solidarity with Guantanamo prisoners on
Thursday, June 20th, 2013
4:15 – 5:30 PM
Twelve Corners, Brighton

We have orange jumpsuits, chains and (maybe) a large cage.
We plan to walk single file along the park sidewalk for an hour.
We will  also have informational handouts.

This action is also in support of Elliott Adam’s hunger strike in solidarity with the prisoners of Guantanamo Bay. He will be on his 36th day, a 300 calorie per day hunger strike. Why? Because 86 prisoners are innocent, completely cleared by the US Government for over a year and . . . They are still in prison. We  must not condone or tolerate the imprisonment of innocent men. It is UnAmerican and in fact immoral and illegal. We cannot tolerate illegal detention and Guantanamo Bay needs to be closed.
