JANUS V. AFSCME: LABOR AT A CROSSROADS

The U.S.Supreme Court has just taken up the case of a union member
who claims that having to pay dues violates his rights. If he wins, unions
will have to represent both workers who pay dues and those who don’t.
The Court is expected to rule in his favor. How will this ruling affect
unions and what are unions doing to resist?

Come to this Saturday’s free Labor Lyceum and learn! Presenters include
NYS Assemblyman Harry Bronson, leaders of local unions directly impacted
by the decision, and past Rochester Labor Council president Jim Bertolone.
