For 43 years, Jalil Muntaqim has been in the prison system. He was accused and convicted of murder as part of the FBI’s COINTELPRO – a program meant in part to destroy the black Freedom Movement in the early 1970’s.
This June is his 8th parole hearing to be freed from Attica prison. On June 12th there will be rallies in Buffalo and Rochester demanding he be granted parole. We hope that you’ll join us to help expose the continued existance of political prisoners in this country. We will deliver a letter of support and petition signatures to the nearby regional parole board offices.
WHERE: Corner of South Ave and Byron Street (By St. Joe’s House of Hospitality)
